ADDAMEER (conscience) Prisoners Support and Human Rights Association is a Palestinian non-governmental, civil institution which focuses on human rights issues. Established in 1992 by a group of activists interested in human rights, the center's activities focus on offering support for Palestinian prisoners, advocating the rights of political prisoners, and working to end torture through monitoring, legal procedures and solidarity campaigns.

28 Thursday September 2000 saw the first day of clashes throughout the West Bank, Gaza and 1948 Palestinian areas, the most widespread and violent clashes since September 1996. Within 6 days, 60 Palestinians were killed by Israeli soldiers and over 2000 injured. The September 2000 Clashes Information Center website was launched on Sunday 1 October to provide up-to-date information on the clashes from on the ground.
